A little bit about us
At Little Reed Weddings, we aim to deliver natural, heartfelt imagery that stands the test of time. I know most couples we work with aren’t going to be professional models (although we’ll make sure you look just as good, if not better), so I prefer to adopt more of a documentary style of photography that focuses on capturing candid moments. As an introvert, I understand the subtleties of emotion, preferring prompts that bring out genuine connections and unique personalities rather than forced and awkward poses.
We are a small and close-knit bunch united by our love for capturing love stories. You can check out the incredible individuals who make up our little team below! If we sound like your cup of tea, send us an email and let’s create something magical!
Welcome to Little Reed Weddings! I’m Sophia, founder of this little team and de facto mother of the group, or so I’m told…
I’m a professional photo taker, keen dog patter, and a brunch and A24 film enthusiast. I’ve always been drawn to all things creative. As a kid, I would always borrow my dad’s camera and one day I didn’t give it back. I couldn’t help but be drawn to the intimacy and emotions photos can capture and the legacy they leave behind. This is what drew me towards wedding photography. I captured my first wedding in 2017, and have been hooked ever since!

Simple! Get in touch with us via our “Contact” tab, and we’ll get back to you ASAP with our availability. Once you’ve decided on a package, do let us know and a contract will be issued, alongside details for a $500 deposit. Once these formalities are done, your wedding will be locked in!

We’re an easygoing bunch and try to ensure our couples are as comfortable and relaxed as possible on their big day. We cater to multiple preferences depending on how reserved or outgoing our couples are. Whilst definitely leaning towards a natural storytelling approach, we do incorporate a mix of directions throughout the day to ensure that you’re looking and feeling your best!
-
Either, Sophia, Tash, or both will be at your service. In the unlikely event either are unavailable (due to illness, etc.) we will organise a suitable replacement from our network of photographers.
-
A popular question for sure, and in all honesty, it really depends on a bunch of factors. Amount of guests plus overall activity of the wedding are the biggest indicators, with more people generally translating to more photos.
Generally, couples can expect around 75-100 photos per hour of the booked package.
-
Around 25 photos will be sent to you within 48 hours of your wedding. You can expect the full album available roughly 4 weeks after your wedding if the full payment has been made. Distribution will include all photos in high-resolution, so feel free to print out a whole bunch!
-
Of course you can! Any additional hours simply come at a fee of $350 per hour, and extends the duration of both photographers at your wedding.

Yes! Fans of all things rustic and natural, country Victoria is a frequent destination for us. All packages include travel anywhere up to 2 hours from Melbourne CBD, with additional costs applicable to further locations. This is mainly to cover fuel or any potential lodging requirements.
As for interstate and overseas, we LOVE a good destination wedding, having shot a handful over the years. Do let us know if you’ve got something in mind, and we’d love to chat further!

Nope, but we are friends with a heap of amazing filmmakers, so feel free to ask for a recommendation!

Shooting on predominantly Canon and Fuji systems, couples can rest easy knowing that the very best cameras and lenses are utilised at Little Reed. All our cameras have dual SD card slots, meaning a backup is always in place!
